Men and women of science have been asking this question for years: “How do we define premature ejaculation?” How do we know what PE actually IS?
Some scientists call it early ejaculation. Some call it premature ejaculation. But the question still stands: what does rapid ejaculation even mean? What does it mean to ejaculate early? What does it even mean for sexual performance and stamina to be on a timeline anyways?
And why is there an entire area of research dedicated to “timed ejaculation” and “ejaculation latency”?
There’s a lot of science out there and I am here to CLEAR IT UP!
If you haven’t met me already, I’m Caitlin V, the internet’s expert on premature ejaculation. I’ve spent the last several years coaching HUNDREDS of men on how to end premature ejaculation for GOOD. I help men last as long as they want in bed.
Every single client I’ve worked with has helped me understand more and more about how to end premature ejaculation and how to last longer during sexual activity. All this info has helped me develop the Come When You Want Masterclass: my online course that will help you end premature ejaculation in as little as two weeks.
But today I’m here to clear the air about something VERY important. **drum roll please**
What are we lookin’ at and talkin’ about here?
How do you know if you have premature ejaculation—and how do you know if you want to cure it – if you don’t know EXACTLY what it is and what causes you to bust too soon during sexual intercourse?
There’s plenty of men out there that don’t even know they have it. They think they’re doomed to struggle in the sack… all alone.
Guys, YOU ARE NOT ALONE!
How Many Men Have Premature Ejaculation?
Premature ejaculation affects as many as one-in-three men. That’s a third of all men!
And let’s be real, here: almost all men have had an experience where they couldn’t last during penetration, they lost control of their ejaculation, and they hit the point of no return, thus abruptly ending sexual stimulation and leaving their sexual partner feeling disappointed and frustrated.
Nobody wants that.
Here’s the truth, gentlemen: you need to last long enough during vaginal penetration to help your partner have an orgasm.
Because to have great sex – for sex to be AMAZING – you’ve got to last long enough to help her get to that finish line.
Women take twenty to forty minutes to pique arousal and reach orgasm. So, if you can’t last twenty minutes or forty minutes or an hour …. you might be experiencing all the downsides of premature climax.
What is Premature Ejaculation?
Apparently, the scientific community is wondering the same thing. Right now, science defines premature ejaculation as:
- Ejaculating before insertion
- Ejaculating within 30 seconds of insertion
- Ejaculating within 2 minutes of insertion
And some of them don’t even say when insertion is! Is that insertion into a mouth? Into a vagina? An anus? A sex toy? Does it matter? Does it not matter?
We have to define these things!
If you spend enough time researching, you’ll discover that premature ejaculation means a lot of things. Maybe it means you ejaculated within 5 minutes of beginning intercourse. Maybe it means three minutes into a sex session. But what’s certain is that there is no agreed-upon definition of premature ejaculation.
Therefore, I offer you the following definition. **ahem.**
PE (Noun): Premature ejaculation refers to ejaculating before you and your partner are both ready.
If you were ready and she wasn’t ready, it was early! It was premature! You didn’t last as long as you needed to for it to be a great sexual experience for both of you.
How Long is Long Enough to Last in Bed?
This number varies a lot. For some couples, the average time is going to be seven minutes. As long as you can hold out for seven minutes, it’s fine. But for other couples it’s going to be forty minutes. Especially for women who find it a little more challenging to reach orgasm, that number might even be higher than 40 minutes! (Saddle UP!)
If you’re no able to last as long as it takes for your lady to come, you’re not able to have the sex that you both want.
THIS is what it means to have premature ejaculation.
I don’t think science is out there to define YOUR sex life and what is pleasurable and successful for YOU.
The success of your sex life is ONLY measurable by YOU and the person you’re having sex with. NOT by a bunch of scientists in the ivory tower who have never met you or your erection before.
How to Delay Ejaculation
If you have trouble controlling your ejaculation, if you’re tired of battling performance anxiety, if you want to bring her to one, two, three, multiple, SIMULTANEOUS orgasms where both of you reach climax at the same time… both of you need to have control over your ejaculation and you need to be confident in your ability to not come early.
That’s why I developed my Masterclass, Come When You Want. It’s three and a half hours of my best content – the things I have learned as a sex coach, laid out exactly step by step that explains everything you need to do to end premature ejaculation and last longer in bed, starting right now.
